A coach's week
NextTouch does the chasing. Here's what a week looks like once it's set up. Every step below is how the app actually works.
- Start of the week
Build it with AI, then release it
Pick the skills, level, space and equipment. Review the drafted drills, swap anything you don't like, and schedule it.
NEXTTOUCHnowWeek 5 is live 🎉Sent to 14 players on U10 Blue. - Same moment
Families hear about it automatically
Every player gets a push, and families get the Week Posted email. You don't send a thing.
- Mid-week
Reminders go only to players who are behind
Players who already finished aren't bothered. Nothing is sent between 9 PM and 8 AM.
NEXTTOUCHnowWeek 5: 2 drills leftYou have 2 drills left · 60 pts. The week ends Saturday. - Whenever you have a minute
Review videos with a chip or one 👍
Tap “Great technique!” and send, or just give a thumbs up. Either way the video counts as reviewed. A mid-week check-in tells you who hasn't started and what's waiting.

Done. Next week is ready when you are
Copy a past week or build a new one. If your last scheduled week is ending with nothing after it, NextTouch reminds you.
A whole season, posted in seconds
A 38-week at-home curriculum for every age from U6–U18, designed by licensed youth soccer coaches. Pick your age group and start date, and the full season is ready.
- 3 lessons a week, each with clear steps, a goal and a coaching tip. Skills come back later in the season with harder targets.
- Choose the difficulty: Beginner, Intermediate or Expert all season, or Progressive, which steps up every 12 weeks. Expert always means expert for the age.
- Skip holiday weeks, or start mid-season from any week. Each week opens on its own and players get a reminder.
- Every lesson stays editable, and you can still build your own weeks or use the AI Plan Builder.
- No heading in any at-home lesson.
A month of training, drafted for you
Tell NextTouch what your team should work on. It drafts the weeks, and you stay in charge of every drill.
- Picks from a curated catalog of 216 drills across 9 skills, from ball mastery to weak foot.
- Age-safe rules: every drill works for one player at home with the space and equipment you choose, and there's no heading for U11 and younger.
- You review every drill before it's published. Edit it, swap it, or regenerate. Nothing reaches players until you schedule it.
- No player names or data are ever sent to the AI. Names are stripped out before a request leaves our server.
- Plan a single week, a month, or outline a whole season.
The busywork runs itself
You coach. NextTouch handles the reminders, the follow-ups and the bookkeeping.
Automatic emails and pushes
Week posted, mid-week reminders and weekly check-ins go out on schedule, in your club's time zone.
Built not to spam
Quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM. Uploads are bundled into one “videos to review” alert instead of a ping for every video.
Review without hunting
Review Submissions on your dashboard jumps straight to videos waiting for you. Reply with a quick-feedback chip, a thumbs up, or Coach's Pick.
Player stats at a tap
Open any player from the rankings or the team feed to see their points, videos and streak.
Homework they actually want to do
Short drills, real rewards, and a squad of heroes that gets better every time they practice.
Every week is a level map
The coach's drills show up as levels on a pitch. Clear one to unlock the next.
- Watch how to do it, then film a 20–30 second video. Done.
- Every drill earns points toward the team leaderboard.
- Coach feedback and 👍 come right back to the player.
A training app first
Every coin comes from training. Coins can only be earned, never bought.
1. Train
Do the coach's lessons at home and send a short video.
2. Earn coins
35 coins a lesson, +25 for the week's first and +50 for a full week.
3. Collect heroes
Spend coins on heroes. Every lesson also levels up the heroes in the squad.
4. Play Hero Match
The heroes take the pitch. Wins earn Skill Rating to climb the leagues.
First Touch: 20 heroes, 4 crews
Every hero is a card, from Rookie, Rare, Epic, Legendary to Mythic. Collect them all to complete a crew.

Market
Sign the hero you want with coins. Rookie 30, Rare 80, Legendary 280. Always guaranteed.
Packs
Training Pack 75 or Star Pack 200: a surprise hero walks out. 3 packs a day at most.
Training only
Zara, Tess, Toni and Ace are never sold. They're earned by finishing lessons and full weeks.
Sell
Sell a hero you don't need and get coins back. The higher their level, the more.
Build a squad
Heroes line up as an eleven. The more a player trains, the stronger the squad gets.
- Heroes grow with training. Every lesson levels up the heroes in the squad, and most of all the ones whose skill matches the drill. Level them up to Rising, Elite, then Icon. A trained Rookie can outplay a Legendary.
- Pick the captain and the eleven. The lineup they set is the team that walks out for Hero Match.
Then take them into Hero Match
A real football match with their own heroes on the pitch: 11v11 or 5v5 against a rival club. Joystick to run, then pass, shoot, sprint, cross and tackle. Two halves, and a golden goal if it's level.
Training shows on the pitch
Heroes play like their stats. Better-trained heroes run faster, pass better and shoot harder.
Skill Rating
Wins earn Skill Rating (SR). Every 100 SR is a new league, from Academy to Legends, and the team leaderboard shows who's on top. 10 coins a win for the first 3 matches a day.
Only against the bot
The rival club is always the computer. Players never face strangers.
Streaks and Perfect Weeks
Finish every drill in a week for a +25 bonus. Keep the streak going for more.
Leaderboards
Points from lessons, minutes of practice, and Skill Rating from Hero Match: three team boards.
Team Feed
See teammates' videos (when they share them with the team) and give a 👍.
Safe by design
Built for kids from day one. Read the full details in our Children's Privacy Notice.
No strangers
Clubs and teams are invite-only. Squads can be seen by your club at most, and Hero Match is always played against a bot, never another person.
No real-money purchases
Coins can only be earned by training and winning games. There's nothing for a player to buy.
Real names stay inside the team
Outside their own team, other players only ever see a squad name. Under 13? A parent sets up the account and gives consent first.
You choose who sees each video
Coach only, or the team. Videos are never public, and they're deleted automatically six months after upload.
The AI never sees your child
The coach's AI builder gets skills and settings only. No names, videos, messages or accounts.
Emails on your terms
Every team email has a one-click unsubscribe, and each type can be turned off in the app.

Questions, answered
How much time does it take a coach each week?
Almost none. Start a NextTouch Season Program and the whole season is posted in seconds, or build a week with AI in a few taps. After that, releasing each week, emails and reminders happen on their own. Reviewing videos is up to you, and a chip or a 👍 is enough.
What does it cost?
Clubs subscribe, from $49.99/month. The app is a free download for players, parents and coaches, and players never pay for anything inside it.
Is it safe for my kid?
Yes. Clubs are invite-only, games are only against bots, coins can't be bought, and real names never show outside the team. Players under 13 need a parent to set up the account and give consent.
Does my kid need their own phone?
No. For players under 13, the parent's account is the player's account, so they train on the parent's phone. Players 13 and older can have their own account.
What equipment and space do players need?
Just a ball. The coach picks the space (small indoor, backyard, or park/field) and the equipment players have (cones, a wall, a small goal), and drills only use what's picked.
Is there an Android app?
Yes. NextTouch is on Google Play for Android, and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
