Privacy Policy

Zarembka Software Engineering LLC ("NextTouch," "we," "us," or "our") — Effective date: July 24, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information NextTouch collects, how we use it, and who we share it with when you use the NextTouch mobile app and website (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, date of birth, and role (coach, player/athlete, parent, or club admin). We ask for date of birth at signup for every account type, to determine whether an account can be created directly or needs to go through our parent-managed account process.

Player information for parent-managed accounts: if a parent creates an account for a player under 13, we collect the player's first name and date of birth, entered by the parent. We do not collect the child's email address, phone number, or other identifying information directly, and the child does not have separate login credentials — the parent's account is the child's account. See our Children's Privacy Notice for full detail on what this means and a parent's rights.

Club and team information: the clubs and teams you belong to, and your role within them. Clubs and teams are private and invite-only.

Video content: training videos you or your player submit, including the image and voice captured in them. Videos are limited to 30 seconds and are stored and streamed through Cloudflare Stream. Each video carries a visibility setting you choose — "Coach only" or "Visible to team." Videos are not publicly listed or available through a permanent, unrestricted playback link — access requires a short-lived authorization token issued only after we verify the requesting user's permission to view that specific video.

Coach feedback: written feedback a coach leaves on a specific video submission. This is private — visible only to the player (or their parent) and that team's coaches/admins, never to teammates.

Team chat: messages sent in your team's chat channel are visible to that team's members and to your club's admins. NextTouch does not offer private, one-to-one messaging between individual users — only team-wide channels exist.

Reports and blocks: if you report a video or message, or block another user, we store who reported/blocked whom and why, so it can be reviewed.

Subscription information: your club's current plan. Stripe processes payment-card information on our website. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes, although we receive subscription, transaction-status, customer, and billing metadata from Stripe needed to administer club subscriptions.

Device information for notifications: if you enable push notifications, our notifications provider (OneSignal) processes an internal account identifier, a push-notification token, device type, operating-system information, IP address, and related technical information needed to register and deliver notifications to your device. We do not separately track your device beyond what's needed for this.

Suspension and consent records:if your account is suspended for a Terms violation, we record when, by whom, and why. If you are a parent-managed account, we record your parental consent — see "Children's Privacy" below.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate the Service — manage clubs, teams, rosters, and training plans
• Let coaches review video submissions and leave feedback
• Deliver team chat messages to your team
• Send transactional emails (password changes, subscription confirmations, payment receipts) and push notifications (new week posted, feedback received)
• Process club subscription payments
• Investigate reports of content or behavior that may violate our Terms, and enforce those Terms, including account suspension
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

Video Content and Privacy Controls

You (or, for a parent-managed account, the parent) choose whether each video is "Coach only" or "Visible to team." "Visible to team" means visible to the members of your specific team and your club's admins. Neither setting makes a video publicly listed or available through a permanent unrestricted link — every playback request requires a short-lived authorization token issued only after we verify the requesting user's permission, and we do not index, publish, or otherwise expose videos outside your team.

If you are a parent, you separately choose during account setup whether your player is allowed to use "Visible to team" at all. If you decline it, the system will not permit that video setting to be applied to your player's videos, by anyone, including a coach.

A coach may mark one submission per lesson as a team "Example." A video already set to "Coach only" cannot be marked as an Example — the player or parent must first change it to "Visible to team" before a coach can do so.

Coach feedback on your submission is always private — visible only to you (or your parent, for a parent-managed account) and the team's coaches/admins, never to teammates.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run NextTouch, who process information to perform services for us under their applicable agreements and privacy terms:

VendorWhat it receivesWhy
SupabaseAccount data, club/team data, videos' metadata, chat messagesDatabase, authentication, file storage
Cloudflare StreamVideo filesHosts and streams your uploaded videos
StripeClub admin's email, club name, subscription/transaction/billing metadata (not full card numbers)Processes club subscription payments (website only)
OneSignalAn internal account identifier, push token, device type, OS information, and IP address (not your name or email)Delivers push notifications
ResendEmail address, name (for coach/athlete welcome emails)Delivers transactional emails
Other users, where the Service is designed to show it: your coach and club admins can see your submissions; teammates can see submissions you've marked "Visible to team"; team members can see team chat messages.

Parent-managed accounts do not currently receive transactional emails from NextTouch (welcome emails currently go only to coach and athlete accounts).

We do not use any AI service to process your content, and no vendor is authorized to use your data to train models.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account or club subscription is active.

Videos are automatically deleted, from both our database and Cloudflare Stream, six months after upload, via a daily automated job. If a video's storage deletion fails, the record is not silently discarded — it is retried on the next scheduled run. This six-month limit keeps applying even while a club is suspended: a video that reaches six months old during a club's 60-day suspension window is deleted on schedule, not preserved for the full 60 days.

If a club's subscription is cancelled or a payment fails, the club is suspended: members lose access, and the club has 60 days to reactivate before its admin accounts, remaining videos, and roster are permanently deleted. Coaches' and players' own personal accounts are not deleted by this — only their connection to that specific club. Their training history, chat messages, and coach feedback tied to the deleted club become inaccessible to them going forward, though the underlying records aren't necessarily purged from our systems the moment the club is deleted.

You may delete your own account at any time directly in the app, from your Profile tab under "Danger Zone." This removes, promptly, from our active production systems: your login, profile, video submissions (including the video files from Cloudflare), and team chat messages. Reports you filed or that were filed about you, and block records, are retained even after account deletion, since removing them would defeat their purpose as a moderation and safety record. We do not currently take any action with our notifications provider (OneSignal) to unlink your device-association data when you delete your account — that data is subject to OneSignal's own retention practices.

Backups. Our database provider (Supabase) does not currently include separately-retained daily backups or point-in-time recovery on our plan. In practice, this means deleted data is not expected to persist in any backup beyond what's removed from our active production systems as described above. If we upgrade to a plan that includes retained backups in the future, we'll update this section with the actual retention window at that time.

Children's Privacy

NextTouch is used by minors under the supervision of a coach or club. Anyone under 13 must have a parent or legal guardian create and manage their account. Before any video, activity, or other information is collected from or about a player under 13, the parent must complete a dedicated parental consent step, separate from this Privacy Policy, described in full in our Children's Privacy Notice.

We do not currently use a method to verify that the person completing this consent step is actually the child's parent or legal guardian, beyond confirming they control the email address used to create the account and are logged into that account.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated access to all data, and database-level access controls that restrict who can read or write each piece of data based on role and club/team membership, enforced independently of what the app's own interface shows. Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw parental consent (for parent-managed accounts) — see our Children's Privacy Notice for what this means in practice
• Object to certain uses of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy. If we materially change how we collect, use, or disclose information from a child under 13, we will provide the parent with an updated direct notice and obtain any new consent required before applying the changed practice to that child's account.
