Overview
NextTouch ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with when you use the NextTouch mobile app and website (collectively, the "Service").
Information We Collect
Account information: your name, email address, and role (coach, player/athlete, parent, or club admin).
Player information for parent-managed accounts: if a parent creates an account for a player under 13, we collect only the player's first name, entered by the parent — nothing else is collected directly from the child.
Club and team information: the clubs and teams you belong to, and your role within them.
Content you submit: training videos, team chat and direct messages, and any private coach feedback tied to your submissions. Videos are stored securely via Cloudflare Stream.
Subscription information: your club's current plan. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
Device information for notifications: if you enable push notifications, a device identifier is registered with our notifications provider so we can send you a notification — we do not otherwise track your device.
What We Do Not Collect From Children
NextTouch does not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. Anyone under 13 must have a parent or guardian create and manage their account (a "parent-managed account"). We collect only the player's first name, entered by the parent, in addition to the parent's own account information.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• Operate the Service — manage clubs, teams, rosters, and training plans
• Let coaches review video submissions and leave feedback
• Deliver team messages and direct messages to their intended recipients
• Send transactional emails (password reset, subscription confirmation, payment receipts) and push notifications (new week posted, feedback received)
• Process club subscription payments
• Investigate reports of content or behaviour that may violate our Terms
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations
Video Content and Privacy Controls
You choose whether each video submission is private (visible only to your coach) or public to your team. Coach feedback on your submission is always private — visible only to you (or your parent, for a parent-managed account) and the team's coaches/admins, never to teammates.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run NextTouch:
• Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider
• Cloudflare Stream — hosts and delivers your uploaded videos
• Stripe — processes club subscription payments
• OneSignal — delivers push notifications
• Resend — delivers transactional emails
• Other users, where the Service is designed to show it — your coach and club admins can see your submissions; teammates can see submissions you've marked public; the recipient of a direct message can see that message; team members can see team chat messages
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account or club subscription is active. If a club's subscription is cancelled or a payment fails, the club is suspended and its data is kept for 60 days in case of reactivation; after that window, the club and all associated data (videos, rosters, messages, and any admin accounts created solely for that club) are permanently deleted. You may request deletion of your own account and data at any time by contacting us.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls that restrict who can read or write each piece of data based on their role and club/team membership. Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
NextTouch is used by minors under a coach or club's supervision. Anyone under 13 must have a parent or guardian create and manage their account — we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to certain uses of your data

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
